Welcome
We have a new webpage dedicated to Phil Seaman, the address is,
http://www.littledrum.co.uk/philseaman
One of Phil Seaman's ex-pupils Kevin Chesham recently visited Golders Green cemetery in London, where Phil Seaman was interred in 1972. Although there are plaques dedicated to other great British Jazz musicians such as Tubby Hayes and Rock musicians like keith Moon, there is not even a mention of Phil Seaman in the Remembrance book. For a drummer as inspirational as Phil Seaman that is plainly wrong and we would be interested in hearing from other drummers musicians and music lovers who might be interested in contributing something to a memorial to our greatest drummer. If you would like to be kept informed on developments please e-mail,

Sadly my brother Roy Little died on 15th August 2003. Roy was the drummer with The Blackwells who had a near hit in 1965 with "Why Don't You Love Me" on EMI. The Blackwells also appeared alongside Gerry and The Pacemakers and Cilla Black in the Merseybeat film "Ferry' Cross The Mersey" which appears to still be popular in the USA. Roy started me off on drums and we all miss him.

Last year we heard of the tragic death of Kenny Craddock. Kenny was a brilliant keyboard player from Newcastle who played on many sessions in the 70's and 80's. He also toured and played on several albums with Van Morrison and Ginger Baker as well as recording with people like Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. I was fortunate to count Kenny among my friends and even luckier to have him play Accordion on a track called Mama Take Me Home (Hit the link for Real Audio). He got it first take and his beautiful playing brought tears to my eyes. We are sad and our sympathies go out to Julia and Kenny's family. HERE is a link to a very interesting interview with Kenny Craddock. Kenny's long standing friend and band mate, Colin Gibson pays tribute at this new site www.kennycraddock.com
